In less than 2 months, Black Nonbelievers will host our 2nd annual Revival of Reason. Not only will we celebrate our 15th anniversary, this will be a weekend of activism, community, education, and fun.
What’s so special about our work at BN is that we live our mission to support Black nonreligious people and allies, and determine truth and morality through reason and evidence. We are unapologetic in our methods, and while we provide a safe and nurturing space, we do not bow to respectability politics, and we respect the intelligence of our members/supporters while ensuring that respect is given to all.
There is so much happening in the world right now, from the political landscape on a larger scale to many other issues that impact our communities. And from June 12th to the 14th, we will reinforce our message of joy and reason. And we need YOU to be there with us.
We are so pleased to announce the following additions to our already amazing lineup.

– Charone Nix, LGBTQ+ and disability rights activist.
– Leonard Presberg, President, Association of Secular Elected Officials.

Dominique Huff, longtime BN member and local journalist/political consultant, will be our emcee, and Helen Greene from Freethinkers Fireside will be doing a social media takeover, and helping us raise funds before the event, and live on location. This will be THEE event that you don’t want to miss!
