Greetings!
On behalf of the organizing team for the Women of Color Beyond Belief conference, I would like to thank everyone who attended (in person and virtually) and supported us. It was an amazing event this year, and we could not have done it without you!
We also want to thank everyone who supported Secure the Bag 2. In partnership with GO Humanity, we packed over 6,000 meals for the Greater Chicago Food Depository to distribute to those in need.
If you were not able to attend this year, or if you did and missed any of the sessions, the videos will be available on our YouTube channel very soon.
A huge congratulations goes to Aiden, the 2022 recipient of the BN/SSA Hurston scholarship! A trans identified student at Temple University, Aiden majors in social work, and plans to start a nonprofit organization to help people attain their basic needs and improve their socio-economic opportunities. You can read more about him here.

As always, we ask that you continue to support our work so that we can in turn provide the support that is so needed in our communities. Please make your tax-deductible donation today.
Thank you all once again!
Sincerely,
Mandisa
