Today at 6:30 pm EST, I will be speaking with the First Coast Freethought Society, a secular organization located in Jacksonville. This presentation will be virtual, and I invite you all to join in.
I will be discussing the work and legacy of Black Nonbelievers, our triumphs and tribulations, and why we are very much needed, and appreciated by many.
Although I have proudly spoken many times in the past about BN, I will admit to being a bit nervous this time. However, I will speak as just proudly about our work, as well as speak to the courage of our members, volunteers and supporters. You all make such a huge impact on our work, and in order to continue, we need you now more than ever.
So, I welcome you all to this presentation, as well as more opportunities to see BN in the future. We hope that you are as proud of our work in representing the Black Nonreligious community as us.
