Still Rolling Strong at BN!!!

No, it isn’t just a Biden administration slogan. It’s also what we’ve been doing here at BN.

As I prepare to celebrate my 47th birthday on September 4th, there is another phrase that is heavily on my mind. It goes like this, “Ride until the wheels fall off”.

Our “wheels” at BN have been rolling for 12 years now. Like many things, they have weathered their share of storms, dangerous paths, and needs for repair and improvement. But through it all, they keep moving along, and more importantly, FORWARD.

The BN team and I are excited about where things are going for the rest of 2023 and into 2024. We now have new coordination assistance here in Atlanta, and we have some great prospects for Board members. We’ve continued our collaborations with partner organizations, as well as community engagement with our members and beyond. Not only are we ensuring that our wheels stay on, we are making sure they stay strong and shine for all who need them.

Of course, it is with your support that the BN wheels stay turning. And for this upcoming birthday, I kindly ask for your consideration. It would mean a lot to me and the organization for you to make your tax deductible donation to us, it is always needed and appreciated.

So as we move into fall, and prepare for the changes in season, the BN foundation remains firm and exuberant. And we hope that you will stay on board this ride with us. It isn’t always smooth, but those wheels of community, support, and secular advocacy will keep turning.

Onward and UPWARD!

Sincerely,
